Stefan Bajcetic debuted for Liverpool at the age of just 17 and went on to feature 22 times for the club.

<p>A signing from Celta Vigo in early 2021, the Spain youth international began life on Merseyside at the Academy.</p><p>He would quickly break through at senior level, though, and made his maiden appearance for the Reds as a substitute in August 2022.</p><p>That opportunity came under <a href="https://www.liverpoolfc.com/info/jurgen-klopp"><strong>Jürgen Klopp</strong></a> as Liverpool beat AFC Bournemouth 9-0 at Anfield in the Premier League.</p><p>Bajcetic clocked up 19 games in total that term having made the step up, which included a goal in a top-flight win away at Aston Villa.</p><p>Unfortunately, injury setbacks prevented the midfielder from building further on that for the Reds, with just three outings in 2023-24.</p><p>He spent time on loan at Red Bull Salzburg and Las Palmas during the campaign after, but 2025-26 was then another season in which he was unable to play.</p><p>At the outset of the 2026-27 term, a deal was agreed for Bajcetic to return to former club Celta in a permanent transfer.</p>
