Ronald Orr was on Liverpool's books for four years just before the First World War.
The 5ft 5in inside-forward scored on his debut at Aston Villa in April 1908 but it was only a consolation in a heavy 5-1 defeat.
However, he did hit the target four more times in the five remaining fixtures of that 1907-08 season.
A year later he was the club's top scorer with 20 goals from 33 league games, eight more than second-highest scorer Joe Hewitt. But the rest of the team didn't follow suit and Liverpool were close to relegation.
The Reds were runners-up the following season, though Orr only managed five league goals in 31 games.
He played in the majority of mid-table Liverpool's First Division fixtures in 1910-11 and started as a regular in the following season, which proved to be his last for the Reds.
He injured ligaments in his right leg in the Merseyside derby on September 16, 1911 and didn't feature again for six weeks.
Orr's final appearance for the club came at Sheffield United in the middle of December 1911. Two months later he decided to return to his native Scotland with Raith Rovers.
