Robert Glassey scored after only five minutes of his debut match for Liverpool, against Preston North End at Anfield on December 7, 1935.

<p>He then added an even quicker strike in the first minute of the victory at Brentford a week later.</p><p>Glassey played eight times in the First Division during the 1935-36 season, scoring four goals in all, but only added one further appearance to his Liverpool career the season after.</p><p>His last game for the club came at Leeds United at the end of September 1936.</p>
