Patrick Gordon was a winger who played in Liverpool's first ever season in the Football League, the victorious Second Division campaign of 1893-94.
The signing from Everton figured in 21 of the 28 matches and scored six times as the club won the championship without losing a single game.
Although he played in the opening five fixtures of Liverpool's initial First Division season, he then lost his place and didn't feature for the club again.
