Morgan Boyes joined the Academy at U11 level and made two senior appearances for Liverpool.

<p>The centre-back progressed through the ranks in Kirkby to become a regular for the Reds' youth sides and was part of the FA Youth Cup-winning U18s squad in 2019.</p><p>For the first team, Boyes started the League Cup quarter-final defeat against Aston Villa in December 2019 and came off the bench in the FA Cup fourth-round replay win over Shrewsbury Town in February 2020.</p><p>The Welshman spent the first half of the 2020-21 season on loan at Fleetwood Town and in January 2022 completed a permanent move to Livingston in Scotland.</p>
