Layton Stewart spent more than a decade with boyhood club Liverpool, having joined the Academy ranks at the age of seven.

<p>He progressed to represent the Reds' U18s, U19s and U21s teams and was named on the bench for the Carabao Cup quarter-final tie at Aston Villa in December 2019.</p><p>Stewart recovered from a long-term ACL injury to fulfil a dream when he started for the senior Liverpool side against Derby County in the same competition in November 2022.</p><p>During the summer of 2023, he completed a permanent move to Championship side Preston North End.</p>
