    Local lad Layton Maxwell only played one game for Liverpool but it was certainly an occasion he would never forget.

    The left winger marked the moment by scoring an excellent goal against Hull City at Anfield's Kop end in a September 1999 League Cup tie.

    Maxwell was later sold by Gerard Houllier to Cardiff City.
