Julian Dicks has the claim to fame of being the last Liverpool player to score a goal in front of the standing Kop.

That moment of history came when he netted a penalty during a 1-0 win over Ipswich Town on April 9, 1994.

Graeme Souness had wanted to add steel to the Reds defence and, in his last transfer as manager of the club, swooped to sign Dicks from West Ham United.

However, Dicks struggled for fitness at Liverpool and returned to the Hammers after only one season.
