Years: 1919-1920
Appearances: 8
John Miller made eight first-team appearances for Liverpool during the 1919-20 season.
After signing from Hamilton Academical in 1918, his debut came at home to Chelsea on October 18, 1919 and he played in the next two matches as well.
The second player of that name to represent the Reds, Miller had to wait until nearly the end of the season before being selected again, though, for the trip to Sheffield Wednesday in the middle of March 1920.
Four further appearances followed across an eight-day period the next month.
His brother, Tom, enjoyed the more successful time at Liverpool, making 146 appearances and scoring 56 goals from 1912 to 1920. The two Millers played together on three occasions for the Reds.
