John Drummond played in Liverpool's first ever season in the First Division (1894-95), the year after they had been promoted from Division Two at the first time of asking.

<p>He was involved in 14 of the 30 league matches that season, but failed to score as the team struggled to come to terms with the top flight and were immediately relegated.</p><p>Drummond's only goal for the club came in the FA Cup, when he got the second in a 4-0 first-round replay win over Barnsley St. Peter's.</p>
