    John Davies was a forward who played 10 games for Liverpool - nine times in the Football League and once in the FA Cup - during the early part of the 20th century.

    His debut was as a replacement for the experienced Jack Cox in a home game with Wolverhampton Wanderers on March 9, 1901, but it was the only time he figured that season.

    Seven more appearances followed in 1901-02 and just two in 1902-03. His selection for the visit of Notts County on October 18, 1902 was his last as a Reds player.
