John Charlton represented Liverpool on just three occasions during the 1931-32 First Division campaign.
He was given his debut on October 10, 1931 in a 2-2 draw with West Ham United at Anfield.
Charlton was not selected for the next five league matches but then made consecutive appearances against Manchester City and Arsenal towards the end of November 1931.
