Jarell Quansah became a Premier League winner after rising through the ranks at Liverpool from the age of five.

The defender advanced at the club's Academy to eventually break into the senior set-up under Jürgen Klopp at the outset of the 2023-24 campaign.

His debut arrived as a substitute in the memorable come-from-behind victory at Newcastle United in August 2023, and he went on to play a further 32 times across all competitions that term.

One of those appearances came in the Carabao Cup final against Chelsea, when Liverpool prevailed at Wembley thanks to the late winner from fellow centre-half Virgil van Dijk.

Quansah opened his own goalscoring account with a well-taken finish at Union SG in the Europa League that December, and later netted versus Aston Villa and Wolverhampton Wanderers at the end of the campaign.

A centre-back who could also fill in on the right of defence, he was involved in 25 matches during Arne Slot's debut term in the Anfield dugout, 2024-25.

Thirteen of those games came in the Premier League to help deliver the club its 20th top-flight championship, secured with four matches to spare.

After being part of the England U21s squad that retained the European Championship in the summer of 2025, Quansah then set out on a new chapter in his club career by sealing a transfer to Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen.
