James Norris made a pair of senior appearances for Liverpool after progressing through the club's Academy from a young age.

<p>Indeed, the Scouser - capable of playing at left-back and in midfield - was with the Reds from U9 level.</p><p>His first-team bow arrived in December 2019 as a substitute for a youthful side beaten at Aston Villa in the League Cup quarter-finals while the senior squad were away competing at the FIFA Club World Cup.</p><p>Norris then came off the bench against Shrewsbury Town at Anfield in an FA Cup tie in January 2022.</p><p>Loan spells with Tranmere Rovers and Shelbourne followed, spending the majority of the 2025 calendar year with the latter.</p><p>A permanent move to the Irish Premier Division outfit was then sealed on the first day of 2026.</p>
