Jake Cain progressed through the Academy ranks at Liverpool and won the FA Youth Cup before appearing at senior level.

<p>Having joined the club at the age of nine, the midfielder was part of the U18s squad that lifted the Youth Cup in 2019.</p><p>Cain then achieved a senior debut for the Reds in February 2020, starting the FA Cup fourth-round replay win over Shrewsbury Town at Anfield.</p><p>He featured in the matchday squad a further 12 times under Jürgen Klopp before making a permanent switch to Swindon Town in January 2023.</p>
