Jack Sambrook was a forward who deputised twice for regular Liverpool No.9 Dick Johnson in the middle of the 1922-23 First Division season.

On both occasions Chelsea were the opponents, with the Reds sharing the points in a goalless draw at Stamford Bridge on December 30, 1922, before winning 1-0 at Anfield a week later, courtesy of Bill Lacey's winner six minutes from time.

Sambrook left the club in May 1923 and joined Stockport County.
