Ibrahima Konate's five-year spell at Liverpool concluded with 183 appearances and multiple major honours.

The centre-back helped lift a Premier League title, the FA Cup, two League Cups and an FA Community Shield during his time with the Reds.

'Ibou' made the move to Merseyside from Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig ahead of the 2021-22 campaign and would go on to establish himself as an important player under both Jürgen Klopp and Arne Slot.

He was part of a quadruple tilt during his first season, partnering Virgil van Dijk in the FA Cup final – where Liverpool were victorious over Chelsea via penalties – and in the Champions League final defeat by Real Madrid in his home city of Paris.

Konate also previously appeared as a substitute in the Carabao Cup final win that season – also against Chelsea – and scored in the shootout at Wembley.

After those two trophies in his maiden campaign, his next major honour came in 2024 when Klopp's squad defeated Chelsea once more at the national stadium to lift the Carabao Cup again.

More and greater glory was to come in 2024-25, with the Frenchman making 31 Premier League appearances for Liverpool throughout a memorable campaign in Slot's first year in charge.

The Reds secured the top-flight title – the 20th in club history – in dominant and impressive fashion with four matches to spare and were able to toast the triumph with fans inside Anfield.

He then clocked up a personal-high 51 games across all competitions in 2025-26, which would prove to be his last wearing the Liver bird.

It was announced following the conclusion of that season that Konate would be leaving the club upon the impending expiry of his contract.
