Harold Barton's time at Liverpool is probably best remembered for his hat-trick in a 7-4 demolition of Everton in February 1933.
His first season with the Reds, 1929-30, saw him make just 12 appearances and he was initially overlooked at the start of the next campaign, but became a regular in the side from November onwards.
1932-33 was his most productive season at the club as he scored 13 times in 36 matches, including that famous treble against the Toffees.
Barton left Liverpool to join Sheffield United in 1934.
