Edmund Crawford made an impressive start to the 1932-33 league campaign for Liverpool, after signing from Halifax Town.
He played in the opening seven matches and scored four times in the first three, but only two of those seven games were won as the Reds tried different players in attack.
And despite his promising goalscoring start, Crawford's eighth appearance - against West Bromwich Albion at Anfield on April 29, 1933 - proved to be his last for the club.
He moved on to Clapton Orient that summer.
