Goalkeeper Don Sloan was at Everton before making the move across Stanley Park to Liverpool in 1908.
He was one of 27 players selected at various stages of the 1908-09 First Division season and stepped in for the six matches that the club's first-choice 'keeper Sam Hardy was unavailable for.
Sloan didn't record a clean sheet in any of those games and conceded 13 goals, finishing on the winning side just twice.
He left the Reds in the summer of 1909 to become player-manager at former club Belfast Distillery.
