David Murray was a full-back who played for Liverpool in the first decade of the 20th century.

<p>Twelve of his 15 league appearances for the club came during the 1904-05 season, the year in which Liverpool claimed the Second Division title.</p><p>But Murray only played three more times the following season when the Reds stormed to the First Division championship, eventually finishing four points clear of runners-up Preston North End.</p>
