Past playersDavid McMullan

    • Years: 1925-1928

    • Appearances: 35

David McMullan was at Liverpool for three seasons in the 1920s.

His debut came in a home match against Manchester City on October 10, 1925. He totalled 10 First Division appearances that season as the Reds finished in seventh place, and also made the team for the three FA Cup ties Liverpool were involved in that year.

McMullan was only called on twice the following season, both times to cover for Tom Bromilow. They were the only league matches that Bromilow missed in 1926-27.

Although McMullan had a decent run of 14 consecutive league games in 1927-28, his place in the side was eventually taken by Tom Morrison.

His last selection for the club came on February 4, 1928, and he bowed out on a losing note after a 3-1 defeat by West Ham United at Anfield.
