<p>He made 17 league appearances in the 1894-95 season but his six goals were not enough to prevent an immediate return to the Second Division.</p><p>Hannah was called on 11 times in the following campaign as the club won the Second Division for the second time in three years, and made a further four appearances during the 1896-97 season, one of which saw him score a hat-trick against Sunderland.</p>
