Bob McDougall made seven First Division appearances for Liverpool in the two seasons before the First World War.
The forward also played once in the FA Cup, in the second-round victory at Gillingham, as the Reds progressed towards their first major final in the 1914 competition.
McDougall was one of 27 different players used during the 1913-14 campaign and all but one of his league appearances came during the second half of that season.
He was on the scoresheet just once and that was the only goal of the game on his debut at West Bromwich Albion on January 24, 1914.
