Bob Clark was a superb dribbler who was exciting to watch.

<p>The forward was introduced into the Liverpool side when he played consecutive games against West Ham United and Portsmouth early in February 1928.</p><p>Those were his only appearances of the 1927-28 season but he played in 32 consecutive league matches the next season, scoring nine goals, including a brace in the 8-0 thrashing of Burnley at Anfield on Boxing Day 1928.</p><p>Although he started 1929-30 in the first team and played in the opening three league fixtures, he lost his place and was only called on once more during his last campaign at the club, 1930-31.</p><p>He did, however, sign off with a goal when Liverpool defeated Portsmouth 3-1 on March 28, 1931.</p>
