<p>The Reds finished in a disappointing 11th place after winning their first Football League championship the previous year.</p><p>Numerous changes were made to the attacking line in 1901-02, whereas in the championship year it had been very settled.</p><p>White scored in the second minute of his debut against Everton on September 14, 1901 and was selected five times during the first half of the season.</p><p>But he featured only once after that, his final game for the club being a goalless draw at Bury on February 1, 1902.</p>
