Liverpool signed Bertram Goode from Chester following the 1907-08 season.

<p>Goode only played in seven league matches in his two seasons at the Reds.</p><p>His single goal for the club was the first of Liverpool's strikes in a 4-2 defeat at the hands of Sheffield United on December 28, 1909.</p><p>Goode left to join Wrexham, for whom he would go on to score 136 goals in 276 matches across three spells.</p>
