Striker Andriy Voronin arrived at Liverpool on a free transfer from Bayer Leverkusen in July 2007 after 12 years in German football.
He made his Reds debut as a substitute against Aston Villa on August 11, 2007, and four days later he netted a 25-yard corker against Toulouse in a Champions League qualifier.
The Ukrainian tallied six goals during an injury-hit first season on Merseyside before returning to Germany on a season-long loan. Voronin scored 11 times during 26 appearances for Hertha BSC, but headed back to Liverpool ahead of the 2009-10 campaign.
However, he joined Russian club Dinamo Moscow in January 2010 after failing to hold down a regular first-team place at Anfield.
