<p>He played in two games towards the end of the 1925-26 campaign and added another eight matches to his total the following year.</p><p>However, it would be nearly a full year before he was selected again and after playing in four fixtures in 1927-28, his last two appearances for the club came in consecutive games against Derby County and Sunderland early in December 1928.</p>
