Years: 1929-1931
Appearances: 4
Goals: 2
Alan Scott was selected to play in Liverpool's forward line on the opening day of the 1929-30 First Division season.
It was not a happy debut for him, though, as the team were beaten 5-0 at Middlesbrough.
That was his only appearance of that campaign and he had to wait until December 27, 1930 to be picked again.
This time Scott had a happier afternoon as Liverpool took a point from a 3-3 draw at Blackburn Rovers and he scored one of the goals.
He was also on target in his only other league appearance for the club, against Manchester United on Easter Monday of 1931.
Apart from the three league matches he figured in, Scott also represented Liverpool once in the FA Cup, in a third-round defeat at Birmingham City on January 10, 1931.
