Liverpool have scored 15 goals in their last five trips to Old Trafford in all competitions, after scoring 13 in the previous 14 visits.

The last season that the Reds failed to win at least one of the league clashes was 2017-18.

The last time the teams played out a goalless draw for a second successive league meeting was February 1977 – both games at Old Trafford.

At home this season United have won eight and lost five of their 14 league games.

United boss Erik ten Hag has faced Liverpool six times before in all competitions in his career, winning two and losing three.
