The Red Way Our People Our Planet Our Communities Strategy Overview Awards & Achievements

Liverpool Football Club is privileged to be one of the most celebrated Clubs in the world. We recognise that with this great presence comes great responsibility.

A responsibility to use our voice and take demonstrable action against critical issues such as climate change, equality, diversity, and inclusion. For many years, we have had meaningful work happening across the Club to tackle these issues.

The Red Way - LFC & Sustainability

The Red Way launched in January 2021 as a way of bringing all of this good work together giving us a benchmark to measure and demonstrate our progress against. We have six clear objectives under each of our focus areas, that provide us with a clear aim for what we want to achieve. And we are committed to continual improvement. This is why we use an external verification system – ISO20121 – to hold us to account. We are proud to be the only major European football club to hold this certification.

We also know that we cannot achieve everything that we are setting out to do on our own. We want our supporters, partners and everyone connected to the Club to be on this journey with us. We hope you will join us.

This is The Red Way.
