Liverpool acquired the services of defender Ben Davies from Preston North End in February 2021.
The centre-half bolstered Jürgen Klopp's defensive ranks after completing a deadline-day switch to Anfield.
Davies progressed through the academy ranks at Preston to the first team, where he made 145 senior appearances in total, after making his competitive professional debut aged 17 back in 2013.
He then established himself at Deepdale as a central figure for the Championship side, earning the club's Player of the Year award in 2019.
His rise continued when he completed a transfer to the Premier League champions, taking up the No.28 shirt upon his arrival.
