Talented Brazilian teenager Allan Rodrigues de Souza completed a switch to Liverpool from Internacional in September 2015.
The midfielder had spent time with the Reds that summer prior to the transfer and was included in the first-team squad for the pre-season trip to Helsinki.
Upon the confirmation of his Anfield move, Allan immediately joined Finnish side SJK on loan - and the temporary stay proved a huge success.
He made eight appearances and contributed two goals and five assists as the club pipped the dominant HJK Helsinki to secure a maiden championship triumph.
Allan was on the move again in January 2016, joining Belgian outfit Sint-Truidense on loan to take the next step in his development.
Once that move was done, he put pen to paper on a season-long deal with Hertha BSC in August 2016 to continue his progress.
And another temporary stay was arranged in August 2017, this time with Cypriot side Apollon Limassol for the season.
Allan was on the move again in the summer of 2018, heading on loan to Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt after signing a contract extension.
And midway through that campaign, he returned to his home country for a spell with Fluminense.
