Talented Brazilian Allan Rodrigues de Souza completed a switch to Liverpool from Internacional in September 2015.
The midfielder had spent time with the Reds that summer prior to the transfer and was included in the first-team squad for the pre-season trip to Helsinki.
Upon the confirmation of his Anfield move, Allan immediately joined Finnish side SJK on loan - and the temporary stay proved a huge success.
He made eight appearances and contributed two goals and five assists as the club pipped the dominant HJK Helsinki to secure a maiden championship triumph.
Allan built up experience across Europe in the seasons that followed, with loan spells at Sint-Truidense, Hertha BSC, Apollon Limassol and Eintracht Frankfurt.
Having extended his Liverpool contract the previous summer, the playmaker returned to his home country in February 2019 for a temporary spell with Fluminense that was later extended to cover the whole calendar year.
