Liverpool are interested in bring Philippe Coutinho back to the club this summer, according to reports in France.

Coutinho forced his way out of Liverpool in January 2018, with the Reds pocketing £142million for the playmaker.

But the Brazilian has found life in Barcelona difficult, struggling for consistency through-out his first full season in La Liga.

Manchester United and Chelsea are keen on signing Coutinho, but Le 10 Sport claim Liverpool too are interested.

Coutinho is considering his options after being the target of abuse from Barcelona fans and the Spanish press.

"I don’t know if I will continue at Barcelona," admitted Coutinho.

"Nobody knows about the future, and right now I am focused on playing with my [national] team [at the Copa America]."

Coutinho is under contract at Barcelona until 2023, but has been suggested as a potential makeweight for the re-signing of Neymar.

But Paris Saint-Germain are not interested in Coutinho, despite his side being ready to offload their record signing.
