Liverpool have joined Chelsea and Manchester United in the race to sign Bayern Munich star Arturo Vidal, reports say.

Vidal could leave Bayern Munich this summer with Chelsea and Manchester United both appearing his likeliest destinations.

However, reports have now claimed Liverpool are also in the running for his signature as Jurgen Klopp targets a Premier League title challenge next term.

Transfermarketweb say Liverpool want to sign the Bayern Munich star when the transfer window reopens.

The Chile star’s Bayern Munich career is drawing to a close following the Bundesliga giants’ signing of Leon Goretzka.

However, Liverpool are not the only club keen on a transfer.

Manchester United also want him and, with Paul Pogba, Marouane Fellaini and Michael Carrick all leaving or possibly leaving, a move could be on the cards.

Chelsea’s interest has also been well-documented.

Yet Antonio Conte’s imminent departure could see the Blues struggle to convince Vidal to move to Stamford Bridge.

Particularly if they have no Champions League football to offer.
