Dani Ceballos is desperate to leave Real Madrid and came close to an exit in January, according to his former teammate Antonio Adan.

Dani Ceballos joined Real Madrid last summer after an impressive season with Real Betis but has struggled to kick on at the Bernabeu.

The 21-year-old has made just six La Liga appearances this term and is said to be desperate to leave at the end of the season.

Liverpool are reportedly showing interest in the 21-year-old and held talks with his agent last month, while Serie A giants Inter Milan are also circling.

However, Betis goalkeeper Antonio Adan has claimed Ceballos only has eyes for Betis and came close to returning to the Benito Villamarin in January.
