Liverpool are in "advanced talks" with Lyon over a possible deal for teenager Jordy Gaspar, according to reports.

Jurgen Klopp will no doubt be looking to bolster his full-back options in the summer.

Alberto Moreno has dropped down the pecking order behind James Milner this season who has earned praise for slotting into his new role seamlessly.

On the opposite flank, Nathaniel Clyne has proved an ever-stay in Klopp's starting XI but the Liverpool boss will want extra cover with the hope of European football next season.

And according to French news outlet Telefoot, Liverpool are in discussion with Gaspar over a potential move in the summer.

But they reportedly face strong competition from Serie A giants AC Milan for his signature.

Gaspar, 19, has played just twice for Lyon's first team but is regarded as one for the future.

The France U20 international would be available for a free this summer with his contract running out at the end of the season.

Fiorentina and Bayer Leverkusen are also reportedly interested in signing Gaspar, but to a lesser extent.
