Liverpool are making a move to sign Borussia Dortmund star Ilkay Gundogan, according to reports.

The German midfielder has been on the Reds’ radar for a number of years, but he’s always maintained he wants to stay at Dortmund.

However, amid rumours that Gundogan is now stalling on a new contract, Sport-Express.ru Editor Artur Petrosyan says Liverpool will go for him.

Real Madrid and Juventus are also keen on the player, so there’s expected to be a hefty fight for his signature.

Jurgen Klopp, Gundogan’s former manager, could swing the difference in the race for the midfielder who is famed for his incredible passing range.
