Liverpool are set to make a £22million move for Inter Milan defender Jeison Murillo, according to reports in Italy.

The 23-year-old has only been at the club since the summer after joining from Granada.

But Liverpool have been monitoring his progress and Jurgen Klopp is keen to snap him up.

Murillo is a Colombia international and signed a five-year deal at Inter, however Roberto Mancini has admitted he could sell players this winter.

“I think in January we will release some young players who need playing time, like Federico Dimarco and Assane Gnoukouri," the Inter boss said.

“As for the rest, there is nothing new and so far there hasn’t been any activity. We’ll see, it’s still only December.”

And according to calcionews24.com Klopp is set to make a move for him in January.
