Marko Grujic will officially become a Liverpool player in the next three days, according to his club Red Star Belgrade.

The 19-year-old is understood to have been on the verge of a move to Anfield for the past few weeks.

And it now seems that a deal taking him to Merseyside is all but complete, with Red Star’s sporting director Zvezdan Terzic confirming that the move should be finalised imminently.

‘Grujic will sign a new contract with Liverpool within the next three days,’ he is quoted as saying by Calciomercato.

It’s claimed that the Serbian youngster will be offered a five-year deal at Anfield, and then be loaned back to Red Star for the remainder of this season.
