Jurgen Klopp is very close to landing his first major transfer target at Anfield.

The Daily Mirror is reporting that chief executive Ian Ayre flew to Belgrade to finalise a £5 million deal for 19-year-old Marko Grujic.

However, The Mirror adds that the Reds will immediately loan the midfielder out to his current club Red Star for the rest of the season.

Inter Milan, Chelsea and Manchester United have all been pursuing him in recent weeks.

Liverpool have been handed a massive boost in their pursuit of Lucas Moura after the Brazilian midfielder admitted he is not happy at PSG.

Moura has been on the radar of Premier League giants Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United and, reports Don Balon, is concerned with the amount of first-team action he has been getting.

He is quoted as saying: "It's a bit complicated, after the arrival of Di Maria I lost my space. There is always competition with the big players."
