Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has completed his first signing in charge at Anfield by landing Red Star Belgrade teen Marko Grujic, according to reports in Serbia.

talkSPORT told you yesterday that the Reds were facing competition from Anderlecht for the teenage ace but it now appears Jurgen Klopp has got his man.

Newspaper Mondo is claiming that a £4.3m deal is complete, with Grujic set to stay with Red Star on loan until the summer, when he will link up with his new team-mates on Merseyside.

The 19-year-old starlet has become an integral member of the unbeaten Red Star side who are already 22 points clear at the top of the Serbian Super Liga after just 21 games played.

Central midfielder Grujic has featured in all but one of those, starting 18, and has so far chipped in with five goals and looks set to stay on for the remainder of what promises to be a title-winning campaign.

It is said that Klopp's assistant Zeljko Buvac alerted Liverpool to the teenager's talent and a personal phone call from the Liverpool manager was enough to tempt him to English football.
