Liverpool are clear to finally sign Denis Cheryshev with the winger deciding to leave Real Madrid in January, according to reports.

Cheryshev spent much of the summer being linked with a transfer to Anfield, with the club seemingly desperate to sign him.

Madrid decided to keep him, but Fichajes says the Russian will now be leaving Real in January – clearing Liverpool to finally get him.

The 24-year-old has only played six times all season and needs regular match-time to secure his place in the Russia team for Euro 2016.
