Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is interested in signing his former charge Neven Subotic from Borussia Dortmund, according to reports.

The 48-year-old has confirmed this week that he has no agreement with his old club over the signing of his ex-players.

This means that the Reds could be seeing some of the Westfalenstadion’s favourites making the move to Anfield in January, and the first to be linked with the Merseyside club is Subotic – who is available for £15 million according to the Independent.

Subotic was a regular for Dortmund under Klopp, and the Anfield boss has made it clear that he may go after lesser known players such as the Serbian, with big names such as Mats Hummels and Marco Reus likely to be out of Liverpool’s price range.
