Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs are the frontrunners to sign Alexandre Pato in January.

The Brazilian striker is on loan at Sao Paulo from Corinthians but has set his sights on leaving his home country for a return to Europe.

The 26-year-old played for AC Milan between 2007-12 before going back to Brazil, where he has since rediscovered his goalscoring touch.

And the Evening Standard claim Pato is being offered to the Premier League trio ahead of the January transfer window.

A bid of around £11million is said to be the price Corinthians are looking for the striker.

Spurs are seeking a back-up forward to Harry Kane while Arsenal’s injury woes in attack mean that they could look to do business.

Concerns over Daniel Sturridge’s injury record also mean Liverpool may consider a move for Pato.
