Liverpool are planning an audacious bid for Robert Lewandowski and have the funds to finance a deal, according to reports.

The Poland international has been regularly linked with a switch to Liverpool after Jürgen Klopp’s arrival at Anfield, with the pair having previously worked together at Borussia Dortmund.

And according to German tabloid Bild – via Sport Witness – Klopp is keen on a reunion with the player.

It’s claimed that Liverpool have a strategy in place to move for the player, and that they have the money to seal a deal – although it would likely cost a substantial amount.

Lewandowski has been in unplayable form at times this season, and Liverpool would certainly do well to prise him away from the Allianz.
