Robert Lewandowski's agent has confirmed there is interest from the Premier League for the Bayern Munich striker.

The Pole has been arguably Europe's best forward this season with 14 goals in 11 Bundesliga appearances.

The 27-year-old joined Bayern in 2014 from Borussia Dortmund and is under contract until 2019.

But that has not stopped the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United being linked with him.

And today, German publication SportBild claimed new Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp is keen on signing the striker like he did when managing Dortmund in 2012.

Lewandowski's German representative Maik Barthel admitted there is Premier League interest in the striker but reiterated that he is on a long-term contract.

He said: "It would be wrong to say there is no interest [from the Premier League].

"[But] all of us should respect that Robert has a contract at FC Bayern."
