Pescara striker Gianluca Lapadula says he won't be distracted by interest from Liverpool ahead of the upcoming January transfer window.

Lapadula's performances in Serie B this season have caught the eye from bigger sides in Italy - including Juventus - as well as clubs from abroad.

The 25-year-old is currently the league's leading goalscorer but insists he is not thinking about a move to play at a higher level.

"If I start to think about it then I wouldn't score anymore," he told Tuttosport.

"My house is 200 metres from the Stadio Filadelfia in Turin, but I supported Juve. I grew up inspired by Del Piero."
