Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp wants to sign Cologne goalkeeper Timo Horn, according to reports.

Klopp is believed to be in the market for a new keeper, with Barcelona stopper Marc Andre Ter-Stegen previously linked with a move to Anfield.

Ter-Stegen’s £56.7million release clause is likely to prove prohibitive, though, and according to Bild – via Sportal.de – Liverpool are instead looking at Horn, whose release clause is a much more manageable £6.3million.

With his small fee and huge potential, Horn, 22,  would be seen as something of a typical Klopp transfer.
